You will have responsibility for co-ordinating our hard working teachers in Art. The ability to teach Art to A level standard and possibly Graphics to GCSE would be an advantage.

The Commonweal School is an oversubscribed, forward looking Performing Arts academy, which seeks to provide a high level of support and professional development for all staff. We are committed to realising our aim, which is to be known as a provider of high quality education for all our students, achieved by focusing on teaching and learning. Commonweal was adjudged Good in our last two Ofsted inspections that took place in February 2014 and November 2017.
From September 2014 our new Sixth Form provision has enhanced and extended the school’s outstanding curriculum, creating new opportunities for up to 300 students to achieve their potential. Based in a new, purpose-built three storey centre it offers an outstanding environment in which our students can succeed and grow, within a warm, caring and creative atmosphere.
