We are seeking to appoint a computing and business specialist as subject leader with the ability to lead on teaching, learning and curriculum design to drive up standards within our department. This post will provide an ideal opportunity to play a prominent role within middle leadership and make a significant contribution to the whole school. The successful candidate will be supported by a team of committed and talented teachers working to produce the best possible outcomes for our students. There will also be support from the wider computing and business team within the Trust at Rushey Mead Academy and Castle Mead Academy.
Our culture is based on shared values and collaboration with committed professional and well-qualified colleagues, strong support from senior leaders and a superb working environment. We aim to achieve an ethos where maths is valued by students and families, students are inspired to go on to study computing/business studies at A Level and the professional learning of teachers and development of their subject knowledge is a priority.
The school is one where staff wellbeing is a priority hence:

- professional learning is built into the school day with teams working across Trust schools
