Details of the role
The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing and motivating staff, driving high quality teaching and learning, managing performance and quality, monitor and be accountable for the delivery of individual, team, department and college MLPs and other college targets and priorities, creating and delivering effective study programme timetables, delivering optimum staff utilisation and contribute to business planning and management of department budgets as needed, in order to ensure the effective day to day delivery of high quality, fit for purpose learning programmes.
You will have a teaching qualification and QLTS/QTS, be educated to degree level or have a relevant professional qualification.
You will have knowledge of current development needs within FE, be able to use data to monitor and improve performance, have relevant professional/industrial experience, a proven track record of successful staff management and a commitment to raising the quality of the learner's experience.
You must be able to demonstrate commitment, responsibility, initiative and innovation, to maintain a good knowledge of the latest developments in curriculum and demonstrate commitment to sustained high quality service delivery.
This is a full time position for 37 hours per week.
