It’s an exciting time to join our team as Head of Department – Foundation Learning
You will be expected to work 200 days a year with up to 52 non-working days plus bank holidays, combined with a competitive salary and other staff benefits as part of the package.
As Head of Department - Foundation Learning, you will lead and manage in particular the EVOLVE programme and related staff at Langley College, supporting high quality teaching and learning, including performance management and quality related issues.
The successful candidate will combine teaching with up to 8 sessions of remission to carry out the management responsibilities of this role.
You will be a people-focused, ambitious leader with a strong track record of to lead significant quality improvements in this area of work. The responsibilities also includes curriculum design, development, co-ordination and innovation across this provision to meet the needs of LLDD students in line with the SEND Code of Practice and Preparing for Adulthood Framework.

Salary: T1M1 – T11M3 (£29,761.00 - £43,624.00) per annum dependent on qualifications and experience
