This is a Head of Employer Engagement and Partnership position that sits within a large successful College Group. This role will provide an opportunity to engage with small and large employers across a range of products with a significant focus on the recruitment of apprentices and driving commercial opportunities.
The ideal candidate will come with a proven record of establishing relationships with large levy clients as well as developing opportunities with SMEs and leading a team to hit targets.
The role will also oversee the management of the partnership provision within the college that delivers key strategic training for the residents of London.
London South East Colleges (LSEC) is part of the London & South East Education Group, consisting of a large FE college, an Academy Trust and a private training provider. LSEC currently engages with over 800 businesses in the apprenticeship market delivering to 1,500 apprentices from construction and engineering to business admin and finance.
The Head of Employer Engagement and Partnership will lead the commercial and contracts team, Key account managers and employer experience officers, working closely with the Head of student placements to source high quality work experience and T-level placements, while securing apprentices for the apprenticeship vacancies generated.
The post holder will update the team on the demands of the sector to inform new products, managing all activities via a Microsoft Dynamics CRM and report on pipeline progress.

* Experience of leading a sales team
* Experienced in a business development / sales setting
* Natural ability to connect and build trust with customers
* Able to identify customer needs
* Competent in MS Office and experienced in managing a CRM system
