The successful candidate will be committed to ensuring that all of our students achieve their potential in English and will have a key role to play in further raising student outcomes across the entire Learning Area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and talented teacher of English to gain experience of senior middle leadership and is ideal preparation for further promotion.
Ofsted (2020 graded Good) identified the English Curriculum as "an example of strength" in the school and praised the fact it is "very well and creatively sequenced.
The salary for this post is MPS/UPS + TLR 1(B); applications are welcome from both main scale and upper scale teachers.
Sir William Romney's School is a small 11-16 school in Tetbury in the heart of the Cotswolds.
