Head of Facilities Management
Southport College is seeking to appoint an experienced, forward thinking, enthusiastic facilities manager to lead and manage the continued development and maintenance of the College’s estate, across both of the Southport College and King George V (KGV) College sites, ensuring that the estates are maintained to a high standard of condition to fulfil the College’s mission.
The post holder will serve as a member of the College’s Management Group and will be accountable to the Vice Principal Services.
You will have experience in managing estates, ideally large or multiple sites, be qualified to degree level or equivalent in a building services discipline and be competent in building services and maintenance operations. You will also have achieved a recognised Health and Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH).
You will be an assured, proactive leader who is confident in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, with proven strong negotiation, influencing and project management skills
Experience of working in Estates in an educational establishment with a knowledge and understanding of the FE sector is desirable but not necessarily essential.

Salary: £43,470.00 (to £46,419.00) per annum
