Where you’ll work: This is a multi-sited role, primarily based at Dartford.
Your pay: £55,000 per annum.
Your hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
Your employment: Full time, permanent.
With exciting changes happening at North Kent College following our joining with Hadlow and West Kent Colleges, we’ve created a brand-new leadership role within the Finance department to steer strategies, systems, management and control.
You’ll be a key senior member of our management team, reporting directly to the Deputy Principal for Finance & Resources and assisting with the development of the Finance strategy to ensure response to wider aims and plans.
You’ll be a natural communicator with excellent business acumen, motivating your team to achieve the highest quality service provision for all budget holders. You’ll also be adept at building and managing relationships with auditors and other stakeholders, including bankers and lawyers.
Experience of managing Finance at a senior level in a complex organisation is vital, with you having a proven track record of achieving good financial health. You’ll also need project management experience, which you’ll use to successfully drive change, bolster existing processes and manage competing priorities.
You won’t be afraid to challenge people’s ideas when needed, and your own to check strategies are working. Last but not least, you’ll bring enthusiasm to make this key position your own.
