Stoke on Trent College is currently going through an exciting period of change and transformation. This has resulted in the creation of a number of management opportunities within the College and we are looking for inspirational and dedicated individuals to join us on our journey to outstanding.
We are looking to appoint a motivating and dynamic Head of HR and Professional Studies to deliver outstanding leadership and management across the department and to drive high quality teaching and learning.
To be successful, you will be educated to degree level and will hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification. You will have experience of leading teams along with the ability to inspire and motivate others. The ability to innovate and to work proactively and supportively across the organisation is a must.
You need to be able to demonstrate the following:
•A knowledge of national curriculum priorities and developments in the education sector
•Successful experience in curriculum leadership and course management
•Experience of managing improvements in teaching and learning
•A fast learner, with an open manner and good interpersonal skills
•Innovative problem solver with a challenging, commercial outlook
