This position is based at NEWTEC.
The post holder will be responsible for the effective leadership and development of all aspects of quality assurance, improvement, and development, and fostering an ethos of continuous improvement across the whole organisation.
The position requires an experienced Leader with proven experience of leading and co-ordinating a mature quality assurance system within a post 16 educational and early years settings context with a clear understanding of the educational and support needs of learners and children.
The post holder will also be a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and be responsible for meeting the strategic vision of becoming an outstanding organisation.
The post holder should have a thorough knowledge of quality assurance systems and how they may interact within a complex educational institution. A Good knowledge and understanding of work-based and demand-led learning. An awareness and understanding of equality and diversity principles and good practice together with knowledge of key educational policies and strategies, government initiatives and current legislation relating to post 16 education
The post holder should have a teaching qualification, a university degree or equivalent professional qualification. An internal verification qualification and/or OSCA accreditation is essential.
