We are seeking to appoint a Head of School to work within Horizon Academy Trust. The post will be based at Gillshill Primary Academy who converted to the Trust on the 1st July 2019. The post will start 1 January 2020 or as soon as possible. The successful applicant will be expected to work closely with the Executive Headteacher to share excellent practice and improve outcomes for children across the Trust.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of the school, working closely with the Executive Headteacher. The Executive Headteacher will retain the statutory responsibilities for the school.

Group 3 (R11 - R24) - The salary range has taken into consideration the group size of the school.
The post holder will be primarily based at Gillshill Primary Academy, but may be required to work at other locations within Horizon Academy Trust as part of collaborative working.
