Clifton High School is an academically selective, co-educational, independent day school for 600 pupils aged 3-18 years. Situated on a beautiful Bristol site, we operate the Diamond Edge Model of education underpinned by a strong pastoral and family ethos.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic, inspiring teacher to teach Sociology at A-level and English throughout the Senior School. The successful candidate will assume sole responsibility for Sociology, which has been successfully launched as a new subject choice for our Sixth Form students this academic year. The position holder will also work within the English Department, teaching a full timetable overall.
We would like to hear from candidates with either a Sociology or English degree and the ability to teach the other subject to A-level. A commitment to the wider education of pupils through extra-curricular activities is an expectation. The successful candidate will enjoy contributing to an excellent working environment for pupils, staff, parents and the wider school community.
Further details can be found on our website. Completed application forms should be accompanied by a covering letter of application, to illustrate how the requirements of the post will be met, and emailed to the Head of School, Dr Alison Neill.
Closing date for applications is 9.00am Monday 2nd March 2020
