Stanwell School is seeking to appoint a Head of Welsh to lead and manage our excellent team of teachers from April 2021 or earlier by mutual agreement. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their subject and can teach across the ability range at all Key Stages, who can show evidence of visible impact on student outcomes in their current post and who will have the capacity to continue to raise attainment in a high performing department through motivating and inspiring students and staff.
The ideal candidate will be a strong classroom practitioner with outstanding subject knowledge and communication skills, the ability to think strategically and excellent teamwork skills. You will need effective leadership skills and be able to show the motivation and commitment required to achieve ambitious targets and exceed expectations both within your department and for the school as a whole. You will be someone who has high expectations of themselves and others, with the potential to become an outstanding school leader in the future. You will be someone thoroughly committed to making a difference to students’ lives.
