HEADTEACHER - GROUP 1 ISR L07 – L13

Applications are invited from dynamic, experienced and suitably qualified teachers for the post of a Headteacher of this successful primary school. The school provides education for boys and girls between the ages of three and eleven. This post includes a teaching commitment.
The school is located in the beautiful rural community of Deri, 8 miles north of Caerphilly. The village has a strong community spirit and has strong links with local clubs, chapels and resident groups. Deri School is also home to a satellite Special Needs Resource Base for Trinity Fields Special School. Whilst management of this is through Trinity Fields, the new Headteacher will have certain responsibilities, for example, safeguarding.
The 2019 Estyn Inspection Report judged the school as Good in all 5 areas and highlighted the following:

Interviews will be held on Thursday 22nd October and Friday 23rd October 2020
