On behalf of our children, the Governing Body of St Helen’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint the best leader to further the achievements of this happy, caring and successful school. Based in Caerphilly, we attract children from throughout the County as the only faith school. We currently have 257 learners from Rising 3s to Year 6 and our attendance exceeds 96%.
The school is seeking an inspirational Roman Catholic Head Teacher who lives out the virtues of the Pupil Profile; an individual that really values each child, supporting the pupils alongside the school community to achieve their full potential. St Helen’s has been categorised as a Green School. Our values are lived out every day and clearly demonstrated by an outstanding team of teachers, support staff and pupils.
We are looking for a visible leader who can effectively guide our school on our journey with the New Curriculum for Wales, strengthening and embedding our values; utilising all of our resources to maximum effect for the benefit of our children.
This role will be the defining moment in your career.
We are looking for a Head Teacher who:
Is a practising Catholic, with a clear vision of Catholic Education; someone who will value and develop the Catholic ethos of our school.

Will involve children, parents, our parish and the wider community to shape the direction of our school.
Will strive to ensure all children reach their full potential
Is committed to the value of outdoor learning and able to support its delivery in our unique natural surroundings and participate in the Forest Schools initiative for all age groups.
