Applications are invited from dynamic, experienced and suitably qualified teachers for the post of Headteacher of Cwmcarn primary school. The school provides education for boys and girls between the ages of three and eleven which includes a Special Needs Resource Base for 8 key stage 2 pupils with complex needs.
The school is located in the village of Cwmcarn within Caerphilly Borough Council. There are currently 280 children on roll from a variety of social backgrounds.
The Estyn Inspection Report dated May 2017 states:
The schools performance as ‘Adequate’.
The schools prospect for improvement as ‘Good’.
