We are seeking a new Headteacher to build on our successes so far and lead us on our journey of school improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, passionate and resilient leader to enable our vision in becoming a centre of excellence for pupils with SEMH across Leicestershire.
We are now located to two new wonderful provisions in the North and South of the county, Shepshed and Earl Shilton, and currently have capacity to support 15 pupils at each site. This is an exciting time to be a part of our future and lead a highly skilled, committed and talented team as we embark on our journey to outstanding. Each site has an Assistant Headteacher in post.
We are looking for someone who has an excellent knowledge of pupils with SEMH and the national curriculum, has substantive teaching experience with pupils of SEMH, very high expectations and ambitions for our pupils and someone who is reflective, leads by example and is not afraid of challenging themselves and others! In short, ensuring the very best teaching and learning opportunities for some of the County’s most vulnerable learners.
Our pupils are looking for someone who is:
Kind, thoughtful, makes learning fun, listens, is available, cares, helps them, smiles, provides challenge, understands me as me, makes me laugh.
We are open to expressions of interest from existing Headteachers who would be interested in an Executive Headship arrangement; any applications on this basis must firstly be agreed with the applicant’s current governing board. We are also open to expressions for flexible working options. If you wish to apply on either basis, please outline how you believe such an arrangement could work for our school.
