St David's High School is an English medium community school situated in Saltney, Flintshire and is maintained by the local authority, which provides education for pupils aged 11-16. It is a school committed to the success of all its pupils. Our motto "To be the best you can be, every day" summarises our whole school desire for pupils to build on their strengths and work together on their weaknesses.
The school has excellent links with its feeder primary schools and is committed to the development of the school and the community. The school also works effectively as a member of the Alliance of Schools, supporting pupils across Flintshire.

We also have a very talented team of teaching and support staff who support and challenge every pupil to be the best that they can be.
The pupil numbers for September 2021 numbers are forecast as 320. The school aims to provide each pupil with a high quality education, enabling each one to maximise his or her potential and is recognised for its high quality of pastoral care.
We are looking for a committed professional with evidence of improving performance and raising standards for every member of the school community, who will continue to maintain the ethos and character of our school. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with Welsh Government's 21st Century Schools Programme.
Salary: Group 3, ISR L18-24, £64,143-£73,559
