An exciting opportunity has arisen in the form of a Headteacher vacancy at the highly regarded St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School in the Clifton Diocese. The Governing Body are looking to appoint an outstanding leader with the passion to continue to move the school forward and set the highest of standards and aspirations for the children’s education and development.
With this child-centred approach, we’d expect the successful candidate to motivate and develop all staff to enable them to be consistently outstanding and achieve their objectives, whilst ensuring parents feel fully engaged and involved in all aspects of school life. The applicant is expected to be both highly organised and skilled in communication, capable of delivering the strategic development of the school through both their own vision and the local partnerships with other schools, via written, face-to-face and virtual communication.

St. Mary’s is truly a family school and we are looking for someone who will be an integral part of that family and who can make a real difference in the lives of those around them.
It is mandatory that any applicant is a committed practising Catholic with a clear vision on embodiment of Catholic Education within a Primary School environment, cherishing and supporting the strong Catholic ethos within the school. The successful candidate will need to sign the South Gloucestershire contract which incorporates the faith terms.
