Salary: NHS Band 3
Hours: 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday Full/ Part time. The following shifts are available:
6:30 – 9:30 14:00 – 20:00 08:30 – 15:30)
Term Time Only – 39 Weeks per year
Linden Lodge School is a leading provider of education for visually-impaired children and young people aged 2 - 19 years. We are constantly building and growing our provision and an opportunity to join our highly motivated and skilled team as a Healthcare Assistant has become available.
This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about transforming young peoples’ lives, promoting independence and has a desire to develop their career in a Special School setting. The postholder will work within our Health provision and will be an active member of the multi-professional team, supporting the healthcare needs through the planned programmes of care. You will be undertaking a range of duties under the supervision of the clinical lead and nursing team including administration of medication, basic wound/dressing care and monitoring student’s vital stats such as blood sugar, heart rate and blood pressure when required.
