Hours: 27 hours 30 minutes per week, term time only. Monday – Friday 8.45am – 3.30pm (with 15 min unpaid break and 1 hour unpaid lunch break).
Salary: Hay 8 (£16,081 - £17,740 per annum)
This is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2020 subject to a budget review.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and caring higher level-teaching assistant to work across the school to support the development and progress of the children. It is essential that the successful candidate has a good understanding of how children learn effectively, has good English, Maths and communication skills and has high expectations of all children they are working with.
This role will include:
• Assisting class teachers in supporting children’s learning.
• To provide cover for lessons when required.
• To provide pastoral advice, support and guidance to pupils and their families
• Liaise with external agencies such as FYPS and Social Services etc.
• To work closely with parents and carers on a wide range of issues as appropriate.
• To monitor attendance and liaise with the EWO regularly.
We are looking for a keen practitioner who can work independently and take initiative while developing purposeful, strong relationships with children, staff and parents.
