Salary: Hay 8 (£10,376 - £11,446 per annum) – 39 weeks
Hours: 17.25 hours, 3 days per week, days to be agreed at interview
This is a temporary post to cover maternity leave from 19th April 2021 until 6th April 2022 or post holders return if earlier.

We are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support and cover classes across the school.
The post will involve:
Differentiating the curriculum to meet the needs of all children
Planning and leading intervention
Teaching classes each afternoon to release the teacher for PPA
Liaising with teachers and parents
Cover for short notice teacher absence.
We are looking for someone with:
• The HLTA status or equivalent
• Experience of teaching whole classes especially within KS1 and KS2
• A good understanding of SEND within a primary school setting
• Energy, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour
• The ability to use their initiative and be flexible.
This is a temporary position starting in 19th April 2021 or soon after, for approximately 17.25 hours a week (3 days).
