Higher Level Teaching Assistant (PMLD / SLD)
HLTA required for summer term 2022, part-time, term time plus inset days (39 weeks)
Ideally 3-days per week (19.5 hours Wed-Fri) but more days could be considered for the right person.

We are seeking to appoint a committed, caring, flexible and resilient professional to complement the work of our exceptional team. You will be an inspirational person who is uncompromising in the pursuit of providing children with outstanding care and education. This role will be within our team at The Leicester Royal Infirmary where children are taught at the bedside or in our classroom. We are looking for someone with PMLD / SLD experience, but with the flexibility to support other children where required.
Applicants should be working in an education setting, have experience of working with Special Educational Needs pupils, and a belief in a truly personalised provision for each child. You will plan and deliver some individual and small group sessions, and also support teaching staff in the effective delivery of learning. You will play a key role in the care and well-being of students including liaison with a range of other professionals.
