We are seeking to add two qualified and experienced primary Teaching Assistant and HLTA to our friendly team. This is to ensure we meet the needs of all children across our mixed year classes.
The Teaching Assistant hours will involve supporting learning in KS1 or KS2 classes under the direction of class teachers. The HLTA hours will involve leading interventions with groups of children from all attainment groups. In addition to previous experience in KS1 or KS2, training in phonics, evidence-based interventions and / or ‘Thrive’ would be an advantage. . The post also involves supervising / engaging a class of children for 30 minutes during play at lunchtime to maintain our ‘Bubbles’.
Hours of work: Monday, Thursday and Friday 8:30 – 15:15, Tuesday 8:15 – 15:15 and Wednesday 8:30 – 16:00.
Post 1 is fixed term until 31 August 2021 whilst we evaluate the staffing structure of our growing school to reflect the needs of all of our children. There is the possibility of this role being extended, if a success, as part of this review. Post 2 is a permanent position due to the relocation of the current post holder.
These are fantastic opportunities for committed and flexible professionals to join our dedicated team on our improvement journey.
