BSL Communicators for the Deaf (Hourly Paid)

Location: East Ham and Stratford Campus
Contract: Hourly Paid and ongoing
Pay: £16.50 per hour plus annual leave payments
Working within the Additional Learning Support Team you will join an established provision for deaf and hard of hearing students. As a Communicator for the Deaf/Hearing impaired you will be required to provide access to the College curriculum for Deaf students and support students in various situations for example:- inductions, interviews, classrooms, examinations, Student Union meetings, etc.
You should have a CACDP/Signature British Sign Language level 3 or above. Experience of working as a communicator in education is desirable and the certificate of communication support for deaf learners or equivalent.
