The School of Services to People at our City of Newport Campus is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated lecturer to join its ESOL team.
Applicants must have teaching and assessing experience in ESOL, and understand the variety of learners’ circumstances on ESOL programmes. Ideally applicants will have experience of delivering Entry 1 to Level 1 qualifications, providing pastoral support for learners, and utilising digital technologies in delivery and assessment. You should also hold a teaching qualification, or be prepared to obtain one within a specified time scale.
Skills in teamwork as well as working on own initiative, motivating and inspiring learners, developing a learner focused curriculum and the ability to continually improve the learning experience will be essential.
