An opportunity has arisen for a proactive, dynamic and experienced individual to join the School of Business, Computing and Travel on a fixed term basis until July 2021.
We are looking for well-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our committed and successful team. The role would be ideal for someone seeking to have a positive effect on the lives and learning experience of our Computing students
The successful applicant will need to have the necessary skills to teach Further Education learners from Entry Level to Level 5 and be part of a team.
You will have up to date industry knowledge of the principles and concepts of Computing and IT, digital skills, computer science, software games development and networking with an understanding of learners in the FE sector.
You will be proactive, flexible, student-centred with the ability to provide pastoral care and be a strong role model for our students. Administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team will also be a key to success in this role.
A relevant degree is a requirement and a teaching qualification and/or industry experience is desirable, although full training to obtain this could be provided. You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.
This is an hourly paid position, starting January 2021 fixed term until July 2021 working approximately 14 hours per week.

The successful candidate will join the school of Business, Computing & Travel reporting to the Head of School Theresa Simmons Barnfield Campus, Enterprise Way, Luton.
