With a College priority of developing the mathematical skills of our learners, we have teaching hours available at our City of Newport Campus for an outstanding maths teacher in readiness for the 2021/2022 academic year.
Our college has high expectations of teaching, learning and assessment and has a dedicated team of specialist teachers to deliver mathematics to our learners’.

You should be:
• A qualified teacher with experience of teaching WJEC GCSE Mathematics.
You should have:
• Innovative strategies to engage learners’ and help them to fulfil their full potential.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills to ensure successful outcomes within the delivery timeframe.
• An understanding of quality assurance and assessment.
• An understanding of diverse learner needs.
Experience of teaching Essential Application of Number is desirable.
Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will not be treated less favourably than applications submitted in English.
The ability to use the Welsh language at basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
