About the role
Colchester Institute’s English Language courses are delivered by tutors who are experienced practitioners in various subject languages. Their specialist backgrounds, professional expertise and knowledge is highly valued by our students. We offer a supportive and stimulating environment for those working towards specialist qualifications for adult literacy, ESOL and TESOL teachers.
The successful applicant will hold a Cambridge CELTA or Trinity TESOL Certificate and will have varied EFL/ESOL teaching experience, indicating ability to contribute to the range of options offered within the section: exam preparation, Maths, IT, work skills, writing classes or offer additional subjects.
In addition to our ESOL provision we also offer opportunities for ESOL learners to engage in Functional Skills maths learning. We would therefore be particularly interested to hear from candidates who are also able to teach entry level maths.
