An opportunity to join a friendly and busy Admin team with a strong, shared purpose, and a commitment to providing excellent human resources services to the academy and Trust. The HR Officer will report directly to the HR Manager and will assist with all general HR administration, as required from the day-to-day business. This is an incredibly broad role and you will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of HR admin skills and experience. Daily duties will vary according to the academy needs, but typically will include providing excellent admin and clerical support to the HR Manager, maintaining files and databases to a high standard, inputting a wide range of data onto the relevant systems, liaising with staff and external bodies. It may also involve assisting the Office Manager with other whole-school administrative tasks from time to time. Please review the Job Description for further details on the role responsibilities.
The position is permanent and full time during term time plus all inset days. Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday-Thursday, finishing at 3.30pm on Fridays. The starting salary is £20,510pa paid monthly in arrears. You will receive the same amount of pay each month; support staff are entitled to be entered into the Local Government Pension Scheme subject to qualifying conditions. We are looking for someone, ideally with previous HR experience, who is self-motivated and enthusiastic with a positive ‘can do’ approach and the ability to work efficiently and flexibly in a busy team environment. Candidates must have excellent administrative, clerical and organisational skills and be able to manage multiple tasks at once. Candidates must be able to communicate in a professional and friendly manner with a number of stakeholders, and have a good working knowledge of IT systems.
