We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic humanities teacher to join our dedicated team. This role would involve being responsible for geography, history and RE across the school, up to GCSE level. As Meade Hill is a small school, there may be need to deliver other subjects, as needed.
We are looking for:
An experienced and energetic practitioner with the knowledge, skills and understanding of a range of teaching, learning, assessment and behaviour management strategies to make a positive impact on the progress of the pupils.
· a highly motivated, innovative person with enthusiasm and commitment.
· the proven ability to work collaboratively in a multi professional team
You will fully participate in the life of the school, assisting with extra-curricular activities and will take a lead responsibility for a subject area or cross curricular responsibility across the school. We want someone who is able to see the possibilities of all our exceptional learners and to develop a provision to allow them to thrive.
As part of the Manchester Endeavour Federation, Meade Hill caters for pupils with SEMH needs and all our pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan.
