ICT Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Term time only + 5 days
34hrs per week
Start date – ASAP
Pay range SO1 - (£26,999 - £28,785 pro rata - £14.92 per hour)
We are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a focus on supporting and developing ICT across the SILC. This is an exciting time to join our school and be a key member of the team in driving educational technology forward across all sites within the SILC.
The main purpose of the role is to plan, prepare and deliver ICT learning activities for individuals and small groups/class, compliment the teachers’ delivery of the curriculum, keep abreast of current technological developments for SEN and how this relates to educational use of ICT within school. We anticipate the successful candidate will actively research and recommend educational ICT related solutions to keep the school at the forefront of technological developments that positively impact outcomes for students. The successful candidate will prepare ICT resources to be used in different curriculum areas, work alongside the ICT Technician to develop the educational element of ICT and take responsibility for the school website.

• Have excellent ICT skills and excellent knowledge of E-Safety
• Use ICT effectively to support learning in a range of contexts
• Can demonstrate expertise and skills in supporting SEND learners
• Ability to relate well to children and adults and communicate at all levels
• Demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours with develop and sustain effective relationships
• Work constructively as part of a team
Appropriate induction and CPD will be provided to the successful candidate.
