We are seeking a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills and a professional manner to support the work of the Assistant Headteacher. They will contribute to raising achievement by improving school attendance and supporting children and young people to achieve their potential by providing support to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside the school.

This is a particularly exciting period in our development as we develop our partnership with Uffculme Academy Trust. The Multi Academy Trust currently includes Uffculme School, one of the most successful schools in the country and Uffculme Primary School as well as a teaching school (WCTSA) and from September, we will be in the enviable position of working in a highly successful family of schools providing education from 4-19 with exceptional opportunities for career progression. Axe Valley currently has approximately 600 students in Years 7–11. The Academy is located in the East Devon area of the country, in the beautiful market town of Axminster, which is set on the River Axe. Axminster is just a few miles inland from the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site but has excellent rail links to London and Exeter.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to work with the Assistant Head to best meet the needs of our students. The post is part time 25 hours per week term time only plus inset days, salary NJC SCP 13-22 (£22,021-£26,317 pro rata) depending on experience.
