An exciting opportunity to help lead the next stage in our innovative journey.
Capella House is a very new, unique specialist school meeting the needs of children with speech, language and communication difficulties and part of the Auriga Academy Trust.
Situated in Twickenham, West London, we opened to secondary aged pupils in September 2019 in our new, purpose built facilities on a co-located campus with an inclusive minded mainstream secondary school.
Our Primary Campus, also in Twickenham, will host an Early Years Assessment Provision and is co-located with a mainstream primary school. The campus will open in September 2021 and we are seeking someone with enthusiasm and skills to be our Infant Assessment Class Teacher.
Working closely with Speech & Language Therapy, you will support children to develop their communication skills and help identify their correct interventions and programmes and future learning pathways. Children will have identified Speech & Language Needs and will benefit from specialist teaching and Therapy interventions. but may not yet have an EHCP (and may not need one).
You will join the new Head in providing inspiring outstanding teaching, promoting inclusion and developing our provision to become a centre of excellence for pupils with SLCN and Social Communication Difficulties.
You need to be dynamic, resilient, collaborative and inclusive minded with a focus on achieving the best outcomes for our pupils. You will inspire, motivate and encourage pupils, families and colleagues.
We will give you the support and opportunity to provide successful and creative teaching and learning to shape and influence the outcomes for an exceptional group of pupils in a happy, growing, school.
Closing Date: 9:00 a.m. Monday 17th May 2021
