Pay range C1 (point 12-17) pro rata £11.19 per hour initially (point 12)
Term time only 31.5 hours
West SILC is seeking to appoint a Level 2 Learning Support Assistant with a major focus on Intensive Interaction. The SILC caters for pupils between the ages of 2 and 19 with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities, on specialist sites and mainstream partnership schools. The post will be based at our Farnley Partnership provision, which caters for students with complex and multiple learning needs.
The main purpose of the role is to work under the guidance of senior staff, to develop the fundamentals of communication; champion Intensive Interaction; plan and deliver intervention programmes to individual and focused small groups including developing the skills of staff and parents.
