As a progressive student-centred College, we are now looking for an IT Lecturer / Training Officer to work within the Apprenticeship Team.

Details of the role
The role will be split between teaching and assessing IT to our Apprentices.
The successful candidate will work with the Apprenticeship department reporting to the Apprenticeship Manager, providing first class teaching and assessing to our Level 2 and Level 3 IT Apprentices and the delivery of IT functional skills to all those who require it as part of their framework or standard.
This post involves delivering and assessing practical and theoretical aspects to Apprentices of all abilities and ages and working with a number of employers to support our Apprentices through to completion of their Apprenticeship programme. The role will be varied, being based between our two main campuses and offsite when visitng and assessing Apprentices in the workplace.
You will hold an assessors qualification e.g. TAQA, a teaching qualification e.g. DTTLS, PGCE, Certificate of Education or equivalent or a willingness to work towards, and a relevant IQA qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. You will also be qualified to Level 4 in IT and have up-to-date knowledge within the sector.
Interviews will be held on 10th December 2019 at our Maidstone Campus.
