You will bring a strong and credible background in core ICT operations, the ability to develop and grow a team, a naturally engaging and collaborative style, and strong stakeholder engagement with all College staff. You will be able to balance the core foundations and operations of the role with implementing strategic innovations and will have the capacity to focus on strong customer experience and continuous improvement.
Salary: Management Scale, Points 5-8, £47,400 - £51,510 per annum.
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).
Contract: Full time, permanent.
Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Neath College).
Qualifications: Ideally you should possess a Level 6 qualification (Degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent relevant experience. Experience in IT Management and of managing a wired and wireless infrastructure in a medium to large scale environment is essential. You should hold a level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT literate equivalent to level 3. Experience of cyber security is also essential.
