Junior Apprentice Study Coach
To provide support to 14 -16 year old students enrolled on the College’s new Junior Apprenticeship programme. To develop academic skills, learning strategies and personal skills that will facilitate student success.
Rate of pay: Scale 3, Point 17 - 20, £18,457 - £19,753 per annum, pro rata.
Equivalent to £13,056 - £13,976 per annum.
Hours of Work: 30 hours per week (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).
Contract: Part time, part year, 38 weeks per annum, fixed term until 10 July 2020.
Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Pontardawe Campus).
Qualifications: Candidates must have a relevant level 3 qualification, and/or relevant equivalent experience. Candidates must hold a level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT literate to Level 2 (with working knowledge of MS Office). Basic Skills 9297 Level 2 (or equivalent) would be advantageous.
