ICT Technicians – Permanent (Full Time) Grade 6 (£17,790-£18,849)
We have Two Positions:
Position 1 – Working at Woolden Hill, Sileby Redlands and Greystoke Primary
Position 2 – Working at Kibworth Primary School
We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and inspirational ICT Technicians to work within the Trust. This is an exciting, yet incredibly challenging opportunity that will enable the successful applicant to gain the skills to work in IT.
These are exciting positions; one working over 3 Primary Schools, Woolden Hill, Sileby Redlands and Greystoke Primary, with another position at Kibworth Primary School. The successful applicant will have the responsibility for the day to day running of the ICT Network ensuring ICT is working reliably and allowing teaching staff to deliver outstanding lessons, thereby enabling all pupils to meet their full potential. These schools are forward thinking and creative, utilising modern day technologies such as VR headsets to enhance children’s learning.
The roles will involve support by the Senior Technician in line with other Junior Technicians in the trust. Occasionally the role will involve delivering training to members of staff within the schools, this training may be developed by the Director of IT or by the successful candidate based on the needs of the individual school.
The successful applicant must have:
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
- Excellent grammar and punctuation for managing web content
- Eager to take technology knowledge to the next level
- Reliable & trustworthy
