Key Worker. Re-engagement. Part Time (22.2 hours per week). Term Time Only (35 weeks per year). Permanent.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Key Worker to support 14 - 19 year olds with their studies in Launch Pad within Re-engagement.
The successful candidate will have Level 2 qualification in learning support as well as Level 2 in maths and English. Experience of Learning Support is desirable along with a good understanding working within an educational establishment, a commitment to empowering learners and good communication skills.
It is desirable they have experience of working as an additional support worker within an educational setting as many of our Launch Pad students are disengaged (NEET) learners, who can present behavioural issues and some common learning difficulties. Experience of using ProMonitor, Moodle and ProPortal is also desirable.
The Key Worker will be responsible for conducting one to one tutorial with learners every 6 weeks and support their pastoral needs, monitoring attendance, timekeeping, retention and online learning participation.
