Mulberry Park Educate Together Primary Academy is a growing school on the Mulberry Park estate in Bath. We opened in 2018 and from September 2021 we will have four classes,from Reception,to Year 3. We will continue to grow a year at a time until we reach full capacity as a one-form entry school with 210 pupils.
We are looking for a kitchen assistant to help in our school kitchen.
The ideal candidate would like children, be happy with a positive attitude and be punctual and reliable.
The job role will be to help with preparing and serving lunch to the children as well as cleaning of food service areas, kitchen and catering equipment.
You will need to be able to work to a very high standard, be approachable, enthusiastic, flexible and committed to providing a quality service.
Initially the post will be for 16 hours per week , term time only including inset days. The working hours will be Monday to Friday 11am to 2pm 3 days per week and 10.30am to 2pm the other days. You may be required to work additional days for training , this will be paid as overtime. The job is based at Mulberry Park but you may on occasion be required to provide cover at our other schools therefore the successful candidate will need to be able to drive.
The ideal candidate will hold a catering qualification such as a minimum of level 2 Food Hygiene qualification although training can be provided.
