An opportunity has arisen to join our Front of house Catering Team as a Kitchen Porte
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Receiving daily catering deliveries , communicating with transport drivers
The movement of stock and equipment to and from relevant areas to undertake beverage trolley and delivery duties of hospitality service
Movement of equipment and stock to all areas
Maintain stock rotation, completion of stock data, as required. Keep and maintain accurate records, stocktaking, etc, using computer skills to input data
Work within safe working practices guidelines, providing a food service, following all food safety requirements
Clearing, washing up and cleaning duties
Undertake vending duties as required
Participate in workshops, business update meetings and training sessions to ensure cascading of information through the service as and when required
Working with colleague with the catering team to provide the highest levels to students and staff
Any other duties compatible with the post which may reasonably be required from time to time to meet different circumstances and/or operation requirements
The successful candidate
Additionally, you will ideally have completed minimum level 2 basic Food safety qualification and have a good all round education. You will need the skill and ability to work in a busy team environment. You must be a good team player with the ability to communicate professionally with all members of staff in the catering department. To ensure all food is provided and served efficiently.
