We have had some exciting news in the midst of the coronavirus situation… one of our teachers is having a baby! We are so pleased that with all that is going on, there is some really positive and lovely news within our school family!
As a result, we are looking for a kind and skilled teacher to join our school family in Year 2 as a maternity cover for the academic year. This would be a perfect opportunity for someone who has had a change of situation, is looking to get back into teaching or has just been waiting to find the right school for them.
Ideally, the candidate would be able to start after October half term in order to Team Teach with the existing teacher but we could also accommodate a January start for the right candidate. The ideal candidate would be confident within the KS1 curriculum or keen to learn and although you’d only be with us on a temporary basis, we’d love someone who embraces all of the wonders of working in an infant school!
We know that things are a bit up in there in the world at the moment but at our school, no two days are ever the same and our children and staff are experts at making difficult times much less difficult. If you are interested or simply want to find out a little bit more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We would be more than happy to chat over a virtual cuppa via Microsoft Teams/Zoom or invite you into school for a socially distanced chat/tour after 6pm once the children within our extended schools service are no longer on site.
We look forward to hearing from you!
