KS1 Class Teacher
Jewell Academy – Bournemouth
Salary – MS
Full time – 8.30m-4.30pm
Do you aim to deliver authentic, quality primary education in an efficient and interactive way, enabling children to develop the skills for success in the 21st century?
We are looking for an outstanding KS1 class teacher who is passionate about being a leader of learning, with a strong teaching or ITT training track record and who puts children at the heart of all they do. We are looking for someone who can balance using their own initiative with working as part of a dedicated and supportive team. In return we can offer a strong team of enthusiastic and dedicated staff, engaged children who are keen to learn and a supportive wider school community.
Jewell Academy offers excellent further professional development, supported by the innovative and unique Aspirations training programmes. You will join a school that enables all pupils to access a broad and balanced ‘No Limits’ curriculum and develops their abilities and personalities, irrespective of race, gender, ethnic origin or disability.
If the successful candidate is an Early Careers Teacher (ECT), a thorough induction programme will be in place and led by Teach First, supported by capable mentors in school and across the Trust.
Visits to our academy are welcomed and encouraged and we look forward to meeting you (COVID secure processes are in place). Further details can be requested from the school office and we will be happy to speak with you via telephone or Google Hangouts.
Jewell Academy Bournemouth opened in September 2013 as a brand-new school, with just Reception and Year 1 pupils serving the Townsend area of Bournemouth and operating as part of the growing Aspirations Academies Trust. We grew to a full school by 2019 and have a full preschool on site.
Our curriculum follows the Aspirations ‘No Limits’ approach with a philosophy that the curriculum delivered should provide an authentic education for the world today. Our children need to develop and build on the knowledge and skills that will ensure their education prepares them for all stages of school life and beyond. Please have a look at the Aspirations Academies Trust website to find out more about the Trust.
