Our strong Christian vision drives our commitment to provide every child in our community with an exceptional education. The Blue School is an exciting one to work in; it dates back to 1630 and we value tradition, while being highly futures-focused and promoting innovation. Ours is a high-performing and happy school.
Staff are exceptionally well supported and developed as outstanding practitioners and leaders. We have a strong, inclusive and supportive ethos, experienced teaching assistants in each class, a well-resourced curriculum and fabulous children. We work in teams and our provision is outstanding in all areas.

Established in 1630, The Blue School is one of the oldest Church of England schools in the country yet we continue to adapt to the needs of an ever-changing society and its children. Ours is an oversubscribed, high-performing and inclusive school in the heart of the Isleworth community. We have a popular nursery for children ages 3+ and two-form entry primary provision to age 11.
We combine tradition with innovation and creativity to provide education which has been consistently rated as 'outstanding' for over a decade (Ofsted and SIAMS reports). Results are very high - in the top 10% nationally. Our staff, parents and children also all rate the school highly.
At The Blue School we take great pride in our school and everything associated with it. We have a clear Christian vision, valuing one another as individuals and as children of God. We require all colleagues to be in sympathy with our Christian ethos, whether or not they actively practise currently.
Pupils are encouraged to take care of their appearance, be responsible for their behaviour, communicate confidently and respect others and their environment. We have a highly developed system of rewards and multiple opportunities for children to excel and develop leadership skills. Inclusion, wellbeing and character development are important strands of our approach.
We are well-regarded within the local community and beyond as an excellent school and consistently achieve exceptionally high rankings in national league tables. We serve a diverse community and many of our children speak additional languages at home. We are deeply committed to equality and pay attention to inclusion and diversity in all that we do, including staff recruitment.
