Four Acres Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher who is dedicated to high standards for all pupils in both learning and behaviour to join our professional team of dedicated staff who make learning fun and motivating for all our pupils. We are thrilled that our trust has agreed to fund an additional teacher for the remainder of the year. The role will be based in a NEW Year 4 class which will be formed from a mixed age Year 4/5 class. We keep our classes small where we can, so that we can get the best out of our pupils.
Four Acres Academy is a growing 60 pupil entry primary school with capacity for 483 pupils aged 2-11 (including a 2 year old nursery provision with 108 places). Staff work in Key Stage group teams to collaboratively plan and deliver high quality lessons. All teachers are supported by teaching assistants and our support staff play a critical role in securing outstanding progress in pupils’ learning. We have amazing grounds, a forest school and great resources. In February 2015 Four Acres became an academy as the founder member of Little Acorn Trust. In December 2017, Ofsted rated Four Acres Academy as Good in all areas.
