Badgerbrook Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and conscientious Learning Support Assistant to support teaching and learning in Key Stage 2. This is a permanent appointment from 23rd August 2021. The hours are 27.5 per week - 8.45am – 3.15pm each weekday in term time plus the equivalent of one week for staff training (INSET days).
The successful Learning Support Assistant will be providing support to class teachers with whole class learning activities. They will also be working with small groups of pupils and individual pupils (1to1), including those with learning difficulties and disabilities, to provide an excellent education for all pupils.
For this position we need someone with an interest in working with children in a busy school who:

- has experience of supporting pupils in a class environment

- has high expectations of pupil attainment and progress
- has experience of positive behaviour management
