KS2, Primary Teacher (Permanent position)
Salary: Mainscale 1 – 6 (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: 1 September 2020
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to teach at KS2 - an opportunity not to be missed by a new or experienced teacher. This is a mainscale job, however, experience and evidence of an excellent track record of results will be considered for any successful candidate.
Applicants will be required:
• To offer all children an effective education in a stimulating environment, which provides equality of opportunity for all with high expectations of every child and every activity the school undertakes
• To deliver the National Curriculum and other relevant initiatives as determined by the school
• To work in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies
• To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school
We are an inclusive school which flourishes on diversity and community ambitions. There is barrier-free provision for pupils with physical and learning disabilities. Our ethos attracts pupils and staff who are committed to a multi-ethnic 3 -16 all through Community School where there is a strong ethos of good relationships, good teaching, curricular opportunities.
We are as committed to staff well-being as to pupil wellbeing; full time staff work four and half days a week, but get paid for 5 days, the primary phase closes at 12.30 every Friday for all staff and pupils. We place a great focus on staff development, at all levels with an extensive programme of professional development which offers a whole range of opportunities for colleagues’ development.
