Thomas Keble School is currently looking for a part time Laboratory Technician to join our team, working within the Science department . The successful applicant will work under the guidance of the Head of Science and the Senior Laboratory Technician and in close liaison with teachers and the other technicians in order to support the work of teaching staff and assist in the day-to-day preparation and maintenance of laboratory stocks.
The details of this post are as follows: Laboratory Technician: Grade E (points 4 -8 depending on experience). The starting salary is Grade E- point 4: £18,426 (pro rata £6,356) 15 hours per week, 2 days per week (Mondays and Fridays), term time only (plus INSET days) - equivalent to 0.3450 F.T.E. The working hours will be 8am - 4pm (7.5 hours per day).
