What makes us unique?
Waverley Studio College specialises for students from Year 10-13. We specialise in health and enterprise. We are a small and unique college catering for around 250 students with a family feel and atmosphere. We strive for our students in behaving well, committed to their learning and gain invaluable different experiences. Our sixth form students do work experience placements every week in the local community. Our curriculum includes an exclusive enrichment programme that develops their character and soft skills.

In January 2017, the school was rated GOOD. The staff, students and the local community have united in working together exceptionally well. Ofsted have recognised the high-quality expectations and provision across the school. ‘In the sixth form, value-added progress is well above, or at least in line with, the national average.’
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a full time qualified and experienced (QTS) Specialist Teacher with experience of teaching Mathematics to lead our team. We welcome high-quality experienced teachers, who have taught KS4.

You will join and be part of the Senior Leadership Team. You would be expected to provide outstanding learning to ensure excellence and achievement for all students, with a true commitment to raising standards. We require you to have experience of using a variety of different teaching and learning of Mathematics, teaching throughout the College across the full age and ability range. Our curriculum includes Entry Level Certificate (Pre-GCSE), Functional Skills and GCSE. You would contribute to both Key Stage 4 and 5 lessons as well. The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record of teaching GCSE Mathematics, with student making good progress within a secondary setting.
